The archive holds over a hundred volumes with the depiction of Christ in Piety painted on the top edge. The photographic project focuses on the aesthetics of the archive, to offer an original and creative reading that, thanks to historical references, can, however, communicate the message inherent in the Imagines pietatis to a broad audience, updating it.
